Sunset Kayak Tour

Brown’s Island, also known as Motukorea (island of the pied oyster catcher bird) is one of the best preserved volcanoes in the Auckland Volcanic Field. Private boats and sea kayaks are the only means of access to this untouched island.

Paddle out to watch the sunset over Rangitoto island and the rest of Auckland City from the island’s summit. As we trek to the volcanoes summit, the beauty of the panoramic views will be intensified by the slow setting of the sun casting its fading light out across Rangitoto island, Auckland and beyond.

Under the guidance of your professional guide we paddle back in the dark watching the city lights sparkle like stars. The night return kayak trip is a treat to the senses.
