Have you ever wanted to catch the waves just as the pro surfers do? Join our Surf Weekend and you will get your chance! We’ll be heading to a world class surf destination, also famous for its stunning scenery and beautiful beaches. The perfect spot to have an awesome weekend and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, so jump into your wetsuit, hop on a board and ride the waves!
Video
It doesn't matter if you have never surfed before. We will teach you the basics of surfing during an optional three hours crash course that will see you standing up and riding your first wave into the beach in no time! Or, if you have surfed before, you can skip the lessons and jump right in and explore the surfing mecca straight away in equipment you’ve bought with you, or hired right there on the beach.
DAY ONE
Having successfully conquered the waves, we will head back to our accommodation nestled in the native bush to enjoy a delicious barbecue and share some drinks together. Regain your energy and get prepared for a night of fun and partying ahead.
DAY TWO
Day two starts with a breakfast together as we slowly recover from our night out and experiences from the previous day. The first stop on our way back is an astonishing waterfall. Back on the road, we will visit a well known Garden. They are the Waikato Region’s most popular visitor attraction and host to over 2,000 events each year. It is composed of five individual areas, each with their own themes, including New Zealand’s first traditional Maori garden.
