You may have seen the awesome red Jet Boats speeding across the Auckland harbour. Well, now is your chance to join in on the excitement with Auckland Jet Boat tours. Picture yourself travelling at hair-raising speeds of up to 90km/h performing insane 360′s, steep turns, high-speed fish tails, wave riding and power slides. Be advised, this is not for the faint of heart! This wild ride, lasting a full 35 minutes will leave you breathless and more than a little soaked!

Originally designed by Sir William Hamilton, Jet Boats are a Kiwi invention. Unlike regular boats that use propellers to move forward, a Jet Boat sucks in incredible amounts of water and expels it through a nozzle at the back. The combination of this unique engine technique and the special construction design make the boat remarkably fast and manoeuvrable.
